Brita’s journey to Keepsake Floral began in Leeds, England. Following this, she spent a few years working on a cruise ship, traveling the world, and meeting wonderful new people. In fact, Brita met her husband while working on a cruise line and they settled down in Orlando, Florida together to start their family.
Before she came to Keepsake, Brita graduated from the South Florida School of Floral Design and worked for Disney as part of the Designer in Floral Events Group. She then opened her own floral wedding business, and when it was time to move on, she joined Keepsake. She has since become the Senior Keepsake Designer, leading the design team in building and reviving floral displays.
Staying true to her love of everything flora, Brita enjoys gardening in her free time, and of course she still travels whenever she gets the chance. When she isn’t putting her green thumb to use or having grand adventures, she spends her time reading and enjoying good food and wine.
Working at Keepsake
It’s a challenge, each piece is different, and ages of the Keepsake team range from twenty to eighty, so every day is fun. Finding a career which is so enjoyable does not happen often, but working for Keepsake is a pleasure.
