Maureen was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before moving to Winter Park, Florida with her family where she attended middle and high school with Keepsake’s very own Dana!  While earning her Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Secondary Education at the University of Florida, she met her husband Douglas.  Soon after they had three sons: Brendan, Nicholas, and Sam.

Dana and Maureen reconnected when their sons began attending the same high school, leading to Maureen becoming Keepsakes Relationship Manager.  Part of her job is answering clients’ questions, but, more importantly, she reaches out to florists and wedding planners and keeps them informed about custom keepsakes.

When she is not teaching others about how to keep their memories safe, Maureen makes her own memories with her friends and family.  Playing the flute and singing are two of her favorite pastimes.  She also enjoys volunteering at her church and helping out with her son’s high school band.

Working at Keepsake

My talents are in the musical arts, so I am always blown away by the visual artistic talents of my fellow employees here at Keepsake.  They put so much care into everything they do.

Favorite Flower

My Grandmother had huge hydrangea bushes outside her house and they were gorgeous; I have loved them ever since.

Favorite Movie

A Beautiful Mind, La La Land, The Greatest Showman – I’m a sucker for musicals.

Keepsake Advice

Take a moment every once in a while to ponder the beauty that surrounds you!  Not everyone has the opportunity to work with art and even though it gets crazy sometimes, remember the beauty and joy your art can bring.
